“I love you back” 17: fun back
A friend send me a back view photo tho which shows her fun point of view – colourful and bubbly.

Earlier today I spotted this girl at a cafe. I’ve always had a thing for skull patterns on clothes, shoes, bags and accessories and my wardrobe is full of stuff with skull prints. Maybe it’s because I used to like goth music when I was younger? Needless to say, I fell in love with the cardigan she was wearing.
Summer has definitely faded. Just before I went to Far East 3 weeks ago, weather in London near Carnaby street was warm and breathy. Goodbye, summer, see you next year…
How many Bangs is Alexander Wang intending to throw out?
The answer might be…emmm…endless!
I’ve just been surprised with another spot of rare Wang bag, which I have not seen anywhere on any website as a core core Wang fan?!! I spotted this girl with this amazing rucksack and with one simple glance I just knew it must be a Wang! And bingo! As I am a Wang Fan (here you go again!)…I never fail to spot the spirit of a Wang’s product.
butter melt leather…special texture on side pockets…
In the past 2 days I have been sourcing and researching all sorts in a mahoosive market in Guangzhou, a city 2 hours drive away north from HongKong. There you could find anything from belts to buttons, from fur trims to any type of fabric, from earings to zips etc…You wouldn’t know where to start from and that is just one market in that city. There’re a lot other ones specializing specific product areas.
In the middle of sourcing among all the car horns, human noises, walked pass a man and I loved his back pack so much that I had to run after him to take this shaky photo. His double denim also looks very spot on. Guys who want to try ‘double-denim’ take note here – boxy waistcoat and roll-up above-knee denim shorts is such a good combo by avoid looking too much denim on you !!
This time the dark angel is blogger Susie Bubble. I’ve spotted her on the bus and was instantly drawn to her long line sheered shirt with long side splits. She played really well with different hem lengths by teaming the shirt with a pair of black cycling shorts. The black and navy colour blocking jacket was in a boxy shape, which is contrasted to the soft sheerness of the shirt. And to finish all a pair of chunky heel boots are essential additions! Gold studs and buckles were highlighted on the boots which gives a little touch of military. I tried very hard to hold myself back for not asking for a front shot.
A few of weeks ago, I’ve spotted this stylish lady in all shapes of black at Dalston station and was secretly following her for about 50 yard just to capture her back. Fast forward to last weekend, I spotted the same silhouette again at Wapping Project and Moonshine Cinema and then we properly met.
She has this special love for Capes and this time, it’s in a different material. While I was still surprised of how small world it could be, i had to break my rule again to take a photo of her front. To add on layering, a black beaded necklace in a shape of suit lapel loosely hanging around her neck——tres chic!
She proudily told me that she is 6 months pregnant (wow, still keeping this chic!), I wonder whether there will be a cute little dark angel coming soon….
I know London weather has been amazingly hot recently, so it’s natual to see all colours are popping around. But this weekend with dark clouds slowly covering up, it’s somehow quite a suitable feeling when a dark angel dropped on earth.
She’s in a light weight tailored mini cape with constructed should detail, long tube maxi skirt, Givenchy Pandora bag is super lush.
Then when I was at Bourough Market I saw this girl’s amazing heavy studded shoulder tote by Issey Miyake’s Pleats Please.

A slightly different edition of “I love you back” this time, since the person on the picture is a friend and not a random stranger on the street. The tunica my friend Melissa is wearing is made from 100 percent silk and was bought on one of her many holidays to southern Europe.
Melissa says that what she likes the best about this top are all the memories attached to it. Holidays in different countries around the Mediterrainian sea and trips filled with memories of sunshine and laughter. What I like the best about this garment is the strong, bold and vibrant colours. I also like the more subtle design details such as the straps at the back of the neck and the drawstring that allows the wearer to adjust the waistline and change the silhouette.
I went to the Margiela Exhibition at Somerset House on past Saturday and I got to say it’s probably the best fashion exhibition I’ve ever been to. The exhibition breaks the normal rules for a fashion exhibition by using lots of mirrors, lightings and multi-media. I will blog about it in another entry with detailed photos.
And naturally there’re a bunch of well-dressed people there. And here I want to show you…well naturally…their backs.
