Black pump is definitely a wardrobe essential. Being a size UK4.5 is sometimes quite difficult to find a nice and comfy pair which doesn’t slip at the back. I was loyal to my old KG one for years until recently to my new found—-Vivienne Westwood for Mellisa. It’s perfect with its design in black and leopard bows, comfortable in soft and perfumy plastic jelly, breathy with open-toe design. It comes in 3 different colours, black, brown and jelly brown with a Retail price for £70 at ASOS. Maybe you should get a pair too??

Things have been a little busy lately, but I promised Mark I would post an update to show off some recent loot. Last week Eger started their summer sale. A friend and I went to look and ended up getting a couple of things.

I love to LVoe

Right now I’m in Houston, visiting my better half. Earlier today we went to Galleria and I popped by the main Louis Vuitton shop there since they carry the ready-to-wear collection at that branch. I was on a quest. A quest to find the coat.

Unfortunately they didn’t have it in, but they did have a lot of other nice things.  I didn’t want to get kicked out of the shop for taking pictures, but I managed to take this quick snap before leaving the store.

Memory of Childhood – ‘大闹天宫’

Posted by Qing on June 3, 2010 | No comments

I feel sorry for the lack of appearance on blog lately, biggest excuse is I’ve been away from London home for 3 weeks and I was in China tumbling in between Shanghai and Beijing and other small cities. All 38543 bits and 945000 bobs will be slowly added in the future posts. I did try to catch up blogging while in China, however, you know…the heat and the laziness…

Well it was one Sunday afternoon after a lazy nap after lunch, I asked a girlfriend to go for a quick shopping before dinner. I happened to have found something surprisingly in Metersbonwe, a big Chinese retail chain. To be honest, I never really liked this brand that much as it always looks like a bad mixture of Gap and Uniqlo. However, I read it somewhere that the brand is doing some collaboration with a few cartoon characters including the monkey king made in the early 60s, which was popularized in the 80s.

The story was selected with the part that the Monkey King was rebelling the cruel ruling system in heaven palace and the story was illustrated in a traditional Peking Opera style which is very different compare to the creation of 1/2 Gorillaz Jamie Hewlett.

Here I’m very happy to have found a grey (our favourite colour) polo T-shirt with a small monkey king portrait as logo. Is it pathetic to say that I’m so happy to have found one little piece of childhood in 21st century? (PS. also I was born in the year of Monkey ^_^ )

Pre-summer shopping haul

After reading Mark’s shopping posts (here and here) the other day I decided that I need to get some new t-shirts before summer. So the other day I went on a little shopping trip after work. Here’s what I picked up:
